No loft conversion runs by accident. Here is the route every Central Lofts project follows, from the first conversation to the keys to your new room.
It starts with a conversation and a look at your property. We talk through what you want, what your roof allows, and a realistic budget, then arrange a no-obligation visit with sketches and a quote.
Design
Our designers turn that brief into drawings, balancing the space you imagined against light, layout and structure. This is where early decisions are locked in, which keeps the later stages on plan.
Approvals
We handle planning permission or permitted development, building control, and party wall matters where they apply. The paperwork that worries most homeowners is simply managed in the background while you carry on as normal.
Construction
Then the build begins, run by our own team to an agreed schedule. Most clients stay living at home throughout, with the site protected, cleaned daily, and progress shared as each stage is reached.
Completion
We finish with a thorough snagging walk-through, resolve anything outstanding, and hand over a space that is ready to use. Aftercare continues from there, so you are never left wondering who to call.
During The Build
Life Goes On While The Loft Goes Up
The thing most people dread is the mess and the upheaval, the sense that their home stops being theirs for months. It does not work like that here. Almost all our clients stay living in the property throughout, because the working area is sealed off, access routes are kept clear, and the site is cleaned at the end of every day. You keep your kitchen, your routine, and your evenings.
You will always know what is happening next. We flag the noisier days in advance, explain when services might briefly go off, and keep you updated as each stage is reached, usually with a quick message rather than a formal report.
We would rather you heard it from the homeowners themselves. Across Google and Houzz, the same themes come up: clear communication, tidy sites, and work delivered on time.
