Loft Conversions
Every loft type, designed, approved and built by one team. more details
Most building work ends when the scaffolding comes down. A loft conversion should end when the checks are complete and everything works.
Completion is handled by the same team that built the room, and the route back to us stays open afterwards.
How Projects Run
Completion
Completion has its own stage in the programme. The finished work is checked, snagging is worked through, and where building control applies to your project, the relevant inspections and sign-off stages are coordinated by us rather than by you.
At Completion
Afterwards
Handover is not where our involvement ends. If something relating to our work needs attention later, you contact the same company that built it. Whether a particular issue falls within your warranty depends on your own project documentation, so raising it is the sensible first step.
Completion is a stage of the build, not an afterthought. The finished work is checked carefully before the project is handed back.
Snagging is a defined part of completion, so small items are picked up and worked through.
A written warranty accompanies the work. What it covers is set out in your project documentation.
Projects are built by our own teams rather than handed to unknown third-party building companies, so responsibility stays with one company throughout.
Questions
The same team that built your loft. Nothing is handed to a third party once the scaffold comes down, so the people putting a detail right are the ones who installed it in the first place.
Yes, issued in writing at handover rather than agreed verbally on site. You get a document you can keep, refer back to and pass on if you sell.
Yes, and usually through the same WhatsApp thread you used during the build. No switchboard, no general enquiry form, no explaining your project to somebody who has never seen it.
In your handover documentation. It sets out what is covered and for how long, so nothing depends on anyone’s memory of a conversation in a half built loft.
Snagging is the small finishing work picked up at completion, things like a sticking door or a paint touch up. A defect is something that goes wrong later. Both come back to us, they are just handled at different stages.
Get in touch and we will look at it. We have been converting London lofts since 2007, much of it on recommendation, so a job is not finished the day we hand over the keys.
Building control. We arrange and coordinate the inspections through the project, and the sign off forms part of the documentation you receive at the end.
Tell us about your property and we will explain how your project would be managed throughout.
